Dear Sir, District Chess Association Gurgaon, under the aegis of the Haryana Chess Association (Regd.), is organizing XV Haryana State Junior & Sub-Junior (Boys & Girls) Chess Championship at CCA SCHOOL, SECTOR-4, GURGAON Schedule: Opening Ceremony 12.00 p.m. on 10th April 2010 Closing Ceremony 2.00 p.m. on 12th April 2010 Tentatively 6 Rounds will be played under FIDE Laws of Chess Accommodation: Free Dormitory type accommodation will be provided to the actual participants from outside of GURGAON and to one Manager of each team. Age Group: Players of 6 Age Group viz. U- 7, U- 9, U- 11, U-13, U-15 & U-19 can participate in the Championship. Age Limit: Players born on or after 1.1.2003 for U- 7, 1.1. 2001 for U-9, 1.1. 99 for U – 11, 1.1.97 for U- 13, 1.1.95 for U-15 and 1.1.1991 for U-19 are eligible to participate in the respective age group. All players must bring their Valid Age Proof. Important Note: No Entry will be accepted after 5 p.m. of 07th April 2010. It is mandatory to confirm your entry by post, E-mail or Phone to the Addresses mentioned below prior to 10th April 2010. Players are requested to bring their own Chess boards, Pieces and Chess Clocks. Prize Value : Rs. 23,550/- (Cash & Gifts) Eligibility for Ordinary Entry Fee: - Subject to age limit, every District Association/ Affiliated unit of the Haryana Chess Association is
entitled to send 2 Boys & 2 Girls in each category. If any Association/ Affiliated unit fails to send its full quota, the vacancies so caused shall not be filled. - The host shall be entitled to field two players in each category.
- The first four from the XIV Haryana State U-7, U-9, U-11, U-13, U-15, & U-19 Chess Championship, 2009.
- All rated players as per latest list.
- Two players from the areas where no Distt. Association exists. Aspiring players from such areas should
write to Mr. Pradeep Gupta, Secretary, HCA - A nominee of the Hon. Sec. of the HCA in each category.
- If total No. of entries is an odd no. then the host Association may add one more entry to make it
an even number. Entry Fee: Ordinary Entry Fee Rs. 100/- Donor Entry Fee Rs. 200/- All entries must be sent through the concerned Distt. Chess Association/ Affiliated unit of the HCA. However The HCA will have the right to accept or reject any entry without assigning any reason. Arrears: All arrears of affiliation fee including those of current year must be cleared by the affiliated Association at the time of submitting the entries: otherwise the entries are liable to be rejected. BUS CONCESSION As per Haryana Govt. rules all players are entitled for 75% concession in the Haryana Roadways Buses. To avail this concession you may apply to the Distt. Sports Officer of your area.
