XXV HARYANA STATE OPEN CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP, 2009 |

Venue: Community Hall, Paper Mill, Yamunanagar
Schedule: Inauguration- 01.00 a.m. and 1st Round- 2.30 p.m. on 23rd of July. Prize Distribution- 2.00 p.m. on 26th of July. Tentatively 8 rounds will be played under FIDE laws of Chess.
Team for the National ‘B’ 2009 to be held at Calcutta in August, 2009 will be selected from this Championship.
Lodging : Free Dormitory type accommodation will be provided to the participants and to one manager of each affiliated units at the venue.
Eligibility for Ordinary Entry Fee:
- Each District Association/Affiliated unit and Special Members of the Haryana Chess Association shall be entitled to send four entries. If any Association/ Affiliated unit fails to send its full quota, the vacancies so caused shall not be filled.
- The host shall be entitled to field two players.
- The first 10 from the XXIV Haryana State Chess Championship, 2008
- The first four from the IX Haryana State Rapid Chess Championship, 2008
- The first two from the State U-7, U- 9, U- 11, U- 13, U- 15, U- 18 Championship, 2009
- All rated Players as per April 2009 list.
- Four Players from the areas where no Distt. Association exists. Aspiring players from such areas should write to Mr. Pradeep Gupta, Secretary, HCA.
- A nominee of the Hon. Secretary of The Haryana Chess association.
- If the total No. of Entries is an odd no., then the host Association may add one more entry to make it an even number.
